More mini-announcements!

So right now, I’m totally obsessed with getting this new astrology business up and running. It’s exciting! And scary – there is so much to get sorted and so much to work out.

But over the past couple of weeks (yes, it’s really that long since I posted last) I’ve made a lot of progress. I’ve wrapped things up with one of my existing clients, and soon after Christmas I’ll be getting in touch with more people to get some of that stuff figured out.

For now, though, I have another tiny announcement. An announcement about announcements!

I signed up to MailChimp because I’d like to have some kind of record of who might be interested in this astrology thing when it launches at some point in the New Year, and a mailing list seemed like a good way to hold onto that information – because right now, all I’ve got is blog comments and a few people on Twitter saying they might be interested. Which is not really that organized!

(Yeah, I know – I said it’d be “a few days” when I posted back on the 9th December. Boy, was I ambitious! At some point, I’m going to set a launch date, but we’re not quite there yet.)

So now I have a mailing list! So far, it’s a mailing list with no people on it. (Earlier this morning, it had all my email addresses signed up to it as I figured out the sign-up form.) But if you’re interested in updates about the astrology stuff, you can totally sign up using this form.

Don’t worry, there will be lots of information on my progress right here on the blog, too.

This is really the furthest thing from a sales pitch, isn’t it? I’m not going to exhort you to join up or anything. I don’t really know yet what I’ll be doing with the mailing list, but I can promise you that I won’t spam you and I won’t give or sell your email address to anyone if you sign up with me. ‘Cause I’m not that kind of girl.
